A river town with gravel roads past the village line. Bikes on the roof, kayaks in the bed.
Why Dexter cars come in.
Huron River Drive is one of the prettiest roads in the county and one of the worst for glare. It runs east-west along the river with the sun coming through the trees in strobes, and in the winter it does the same thing off the snow. Dexter drivers do not usually ask for dark glass, they ask for the front of the car to stop being punishing at four in the afternoon.
The windshield strip and the glass behind the driver do most of that work within what Michigan allows. We will walk you through where the line is on your car before we cut anything.
Cars come to the shop at 2200 S Industrial Hwy, Suite D, Ann Arbor. We are not a mobile service.
A fifteen minutes northwest on Dexter-Ann Arbor Road, following the Huron is too far to drive back and check.
So you don't. Every car gets a private tracking link the moment it is checked in. Stage, timestamp, photos from the bay, and a text when it is done. On tint jobs there is a live cure countdown so you know exactly when the windows can go down.
Dexter is in Michigan, so the same rules apply.
Front doors and windshield: a strip along the top only. Everything behind the driver: as dark as you want. There is a medical exemption route for front glass.
We check your car before we cut. If you have been told something different by somebody else, ask us and we will show you where the line is.
Do you get a lot of cars from Dexter?
It is a fifteen minute run down Dexter-Ann Arbor Road, so yes. Village and out past Hudson Mills both.
My car is genuinely filthy from gravel roads. Is that a problem?
No. Tell us when you book so we schedule the time for it. A car off the gravel needs a longer wash stage than a garaged one, and we would rather plan for it than rush it.
